Beading Interlude...

Well the doily got binned!  So I'm back to the hanky edging (the flower one) and another project which I've started but haven't shown you yet.  The edging is nearly done so hope to show you that soon.

In the meantime, I'm showing you my latest beading effort.

This medallion was improvised as I went along.  I'm pleased with it.

Best wishes,

  1. Pretty! I have no idea how you do that!
    Fox : ))

  2. Muy lindo medallón, me parece muy complicado hacerlo.

  3. Beautiful! I would love to learn how to do that. All I need is more time! ...and supplies!

  4. Thank you for you comments!

Ah yes Diane! More time! I could ALWAYS do with more time. But it's not as difficult as it looks and if you already have beads for your tatting... Definitely want to use Miyuki beads if you can though (and they are perfect for tatting too) as they are so much more consistent in size and the tubular shape they have makes them nice for this type of beadwork.

  5. I am sorry to hear you binned your doliy but this pendant looks beautiful, I dont do beading I dont have enough time for beading, I have too much else to do.
    Have a nice day

  6. This is gorgeous Frivole! I would also love to learn this!

Thank you for taking the time to write a comment, it's always appreciated!
