This is a pattern I've made so many times! Sometimes I leave the centre open and sometimes I add a flat back pearl in the middle like in these ones. I have several pairs myself, I make them for my shop and I like to give them as gifts. This time it was a gift for a young lady.
Do you have go-to patterns like this that you like to make often? Tell me about yours!
Best wishes,
Frivole
So pretty, a lovely gift. Jane Eborall’s scmr butterfly perhaps.

Very pretty! I guess my favorite small patterns would be Ice Drops or button ornaments. My all-time-favorite pattern is Mary Konior's Spinning Wheel Glass Mat from Tatting with Visual Patterns. If I could wear earrings, I'd probably have a lifetime supply!
ReplyDeleteSehr hübsche Ohrringe. Gefallen mir gut.
ReplyDeleteI think I checked everywhere and did not see a pattern for these. Could you kindly point me to it if I have missed it? I have been tatting a very long time but these layered ones have me baffled! I have enjoyed many, many of your youtube videos and really appreciate your blog and all that you do to further tatting for everyone ;-D
ReplyDeleteHello Sherry, I'm sorry I missed on replying before. It's a pattern inspired by instructions on how to make layered rings by Edwige Renaudin. I made my own version for earrings but I've not written a pattern for them... yet! Maybe I will eventually. :-)
DeleteYours Post is a very informative post. Thank you from the heart
