A little sneak peek...
I couldn't resist... I've been working on this border for a little while and still have a way to go. It's made with size 80 thread, so I have to be a bit more patient. The problem is, I get distracted by other things (for example when starting a pattern of my own!). And then of course, there are never enough hours in a day. So anyway, to brighten up this grey day, here is a little picture of my other project on the go. Which will be the first to make it to the finish line?

Hi Frivole!
ReplyDeleteIt is a grey day here too, so you did brighten it!
It is a dainty thing you are tatting. Size 80 does take time!
That's a beautiful edging! I can see it being used on hankies, or table cloths, or clothes -- it would even make a beautiful bookmark, one sides or two sided!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Is this one of your designs?
ReplyDeleteNo, this one isn't. It's adapted from one of Mary Konior's designs called "Marigold".
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments!
Will you make it possible to subscribe to your blog too? I'd love to follow using Google Reader but so far I can only find the link for subscribing to comments. Please?
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your interest.
I'm very new to blogging so I don't know the answer to your question yet - but I will find out and let you know! Does it not work if you click the button at the right-hand that says "followers"?
I don't know about following with Google Reader but as Blogger is a Google service, I'm sure they must be compatible. Have you tried clicking on the "Followers" button?
ReplyDeleteIt's not the "followers"- I tried that. It's an RSS like subscribing to comments.
ReplyDeleteYour tatting is beautiful!
Mmmm. Sorry Michelle, I thought that was the way. I shall have to ask other people who subscribe to blogs. See what I can find out.
ReplyDeleteFrivole- I think I've figured it out. Go to the "settings page" and check your "blog feed". If it says "none", then change it to full. You're welcome to email me if you'd like to figure it out together.
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle, where can I email you? Or you can write to me at In Tatters and I'll reply there. I did look in the settings, and it says "full" under blog feed.
ReplyDeleteRats- that's too bad. magistravittATgmail.com
ReplyDeleteWhich MK book is the pattern in? This is so lovely! But then everything you do is!!
ReplyDeleteHi Texas Tatter, the pattern is called Marigold and it is in the book "Tatting in Lace".
