On the 4th Repeat...

I normally can remember a pattern reasonably quickly so that I don't need to keep referring to it and can just tat away… not with this one!  Obviously my brain doesn't work like Iris's and I'm constantly having to check where I am in the pattern before I can carry on.

The colours are not right at all in this photo.
The blue is much greener IRL.

I'm now half way through.  I would really like to do this again with different colours as I'm still unhappy with too much contrast between my two choices.  I also find that there is overlapping of the elements here and there which will need coaxing into place to make it all look nice at the end!

Best wishes,
Frivole

  2. Such a pretty pattern, and yours is laying very flat considering everything that is going on in there! I am not brave enough to tackle Iris's patterns yet, though it's definitely on my list of things to do.

    1. Mmmm, kind of flat…. :-) It does need a bit of help, particularly where the six rings join together, it's really too tight there and I'm wondering about a tiny bit of modification for the next time… :-)

  3. I had the same problem with memory, for this one. That's when I notated on the pic & that smoothened things for me & boosted my visual memory ;-P
Loving the way it is shaping up. It all comes together in the end. I remember having doubts, too.

    1. And I must thank you Muskaan, because I am finding your notated pic invaluable! Getting near the end now and I only need refer occasionally to your picture so it was really helpful.
