Heart? Owl?

I finished a second round motif on this piece designed Jan Stawasz (the 2nd book).  When my daughter saw it, she thought it looked like a heart.  So I scanned it on a pink background.

The proportions aren't right for a heart really, but I know what she means.  A diamond shape next?  Or another round?

      Oh yes! You're right! I think it's better as an owl than as a heart! I did say the proportions were a bit wrong for a heart - I'll go change the title. :-))

    Orsi says an owl, yes and I can also see a heart although a little wide in places for a heart, it's still looks like a heart.

    You could tat a rectangle for each lower side and accentuate the heart.
