Excuse the very poor photo set-up but here is my cardigan completed. I like the shape of it very much, the three-quarter sleeves and the waist band. I'm not completely happy with the yarn (but since I didn't invest much and it all came from stash, I can't complain too much) but I think I would eventually remake this in another yarn. It only took me about 5 days (amongst all the other things I have to do of course) so I think that's pretty quick to complete a whole cardigan.
Best wishes,
Frivole
Wow!! only five days! It is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis s very pretty and fashionable, Frivole!
ReplyDeleteIt's very trendy! - the sort of garment that is in the shops this year. Are you not happy with the yarn because it's perhaps not as drape-y as the style demands? - if you do make it again, it will be good to have this template to work on and adjust as you go.
ReplyDeleteBorrow a living breathing model and let us see it on!
Lovely cardigan, Five days, that's good going,

Te ha quedado preciosa.Besos.
ReplyDeleteTrès joli cardigan, j'aime beaucoup ! Et ta rapidité en crochet comme en frivolité m'impressionnera toujours !
ReplyDeleteI love the shape and design, of this sweet cardigan! As I recall, you used both a silk yarn and a bamboo yarn. They are certainly a good match, and I can't tell if you needed to use the bamboo other than at the waistband and sleeve band. I've never crocheted a 'shaped' garment, so that would be a challenge for me in reading the instructions! I've made vests, but they were basically straight pieces.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty design, and I can't imagine finishing it in just 5 days! wow!
