Wanda's Wheel

Here is Wanda Salman's Crowned Wheel.  I just saw it on her blog and thought how pretty it looked so I got the pattern and tatted it straight away… for a little change from the many Céleste I have been tatting recently.

I tatted this in Anchor Artiste Mercer Crochet (size 20), a thread which I hadn't liked when I first tried it but it's growing on me now I've tried it again.

I am slowly building up a collection of Céleste
for my Christmas cards…

Many more to go!

How is everyone's Christmas tatting coming along?

Best wishes,

  1. Happy and blessed are the people who will receive these X-mas cards. I l gave away all may tatting last year, and felt sorry afterwards that I had nothing left to show or to photograph. So, this year: no X-mas tatting except for my parents! But I appreciate that you give these away to other people, frivole, that is very sweet of you!

  2. Hi love the celeste tatting, how can I get the pattern?

    1. Hi Geraldine, that one is for sale in my Etsy shop (link in side bar) :-)

  3. Very pretty!

I am itching to get to your Céleste pattern!

  4. What an interesting pattern Wanda's wheel is and your snowflakes are so beautiful. My Christmas tatting is coming along slwoly and like you I gift so much of it away, in fact more each year.

  5. Your tatting is beautiful as always! Both patterns are gorgeous!

  6. Nice job on the Wheel. I love your Celeste! It is very beautiful!

  7. Lovely wheel, I have the pattern ready to do as well as your beautiful pattern, I have re-done your pattern from last year which will be posted in a few days, I am trying to keep well ahead of the snowflake challenge, But I stopped yesterday and did the Christmas tree pattern

  8. Your snowflakes are all so beautiful and far more beautiful than those falling from the sky here!! :)

  9. Oooh, lovely Celeste snowflakes! They'll make beautiful cards.
