Variations on a Theme

I've been experimenting with my snowflake design.  I wanted to make a simpler version that is tatted in one pass.


Here are two different versions.
The one on the right looks more like a star than a snowflake.
But the one on the left is simple and still retains it's "flake" qualities I think.

    I think you're right that it looks like a star but would it if you turned it more like the one on the left? They're both so lovely!! I can't wait to give this a try.
