Happy Easter! ... and a few more squares

I'm a bit late with my good wishes but I hope you all had a nice Easter.

I said in my last blogpost that I mailed my squares to Cathy in Brussels... well they never arrived!  My envelope arrived but the squares were not in it anymore.  Looks like someone probably wondered what was inside my thick envelope and decided to check it out as it was open down one side (I can't really see how this could have happened by accident).

Anyway, I'm quickly trying to make a few more and sending them off straight away as I was sad to think I wouldn't get to take part in this big project.  I don't know why but I decided to stick to just two shades of pink this time around.

Best wishes,
Frivole

  2. Oh dear, it is awful that someone opened your envelope and lost or took your squares. Our post sometimes gets opened at customs here but at least they do that in front of us. I hope you can make some more in time and I'm sure Cathy will accept them late. Happy Easter!

  6. I couldn't believe what I was reading! What in the world?!! I commend you for jumping right in and tatting some new motifs. I guess there is no real way to prevent this! I'm glad your shuttle got to me safe and sound a few years ago.

I hope you had a good Easter in spite of this situation. This Easter I decided to finally do a new blog post (I'm embarrassed to admit it's been three years!), as I wanted to show my 'new' Easter egg, which took me a year to finally finish(!), as I kept setting it aside trying to figure out what to do next. It turned out pretty well, so sometimes the slow road is the better one! It also has interlocking rings, which I believe I tatted to try out your shuttle! But I hope to start posting more regularly from now on!
