I have now applied the decals to my plates but they had still not been fired in the kiln before we broke off for the Christmas holidays (although luckily you can't really tell from the photos).
Here are the plates waiting to be put in the kiln.
I hope your Christmas preparations are going well. I've yet to get our decorations out! But now term has ended, it will definitely get done this weekend.
Best wishes,
Frivole
Absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am in awe. Unique and lovely.
ReplyDeleteCeramic decals, wow!!! The resulting plates are exquisite.
ReplyDeleteI only recently discovered that there are decals that can be imbedded in ceramic items. A tatter used them in her ceramic shuttles. But making your own decals is amazing. They certainly are impressive before the firing so they will be spectacular afterwards.
ReplyDeleteWow! These are so lovely! My favorite is the rectangular platter in the foreground L. I foresee tatters across the world waiting in anticipation for their very own La Cossette serving platter!
ReplyDeleteLove the results. Well done.

Super joli !
ReplyDeleteGorgeous plates and you have some unique designs, sorry for the late comment
ReplyDeleteI too love that big rectangular plate - I guess you've got a few of your Christmas presents sorted out - I can just see someone wanting the "next item in the collection". Really just lovely and a "step up" from the normal "I made it myself" offering! All the very best Season's Greetings to you and yours - and while I hope that tendonitis goes away mighty quick I've gotta say you've got a way for turning any lemons life serves up to you into lemonade. :-D
ReplyDeleteWow, they are lovely Joelle. I hope I get to see them at our next Tatting Day! Happy Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much everyone for your lovely comments! :-)
