Join in? There are a few tatters working on this doily by Renulek. I'm liking the shape of it and wondering whether to have a go at making it too. I have a bit of catching up to do though…

than the others, I don't know what happened there.
Oops - I lost my reply. I think the worst that happen is that you'll end up with something both pretty and useful no matter which round you stop on, so what is the worst that can happen? As for a shorter chain - I'm finding that hard to spot. Maybe the thread was just fractionally thinner for a short distance? I find that sometimes I get a little variation in the thread and that makes a difference. But really, if you've got to get out a magnifying glass to find it... Still, no harm in trying it again and having a spare doo-dad. You can never have too many tatting doo-dads!
I wish I had started this too, and I will be leaving to help out my daughter soon and wont have time. You tat so well I sure you will catch up and love the colors too!
