Join in? There are a few tatters working on this doily by
Renulek. I'm liking the shape of it and wondering whether to have a go at making it too. I have a bit of catching up to do though…
The centre makes me think of a sunflower…
Mmm... one of my chains definitely looks shorter
than the others, I don't know what happened there.
Best wishes,
Frivole
Oops - I lost my reply. I think the worst that happen is that you'll end up with something both pretty and useful no matter which round you stop on, so what is the worst that can happen? As for a shorter chain - I'm finding that hard to spot. Maybe the thread was just fractionally thinner for a short distance? I find that sometimes I get a little variation in the thread and that makes a difference. But really, if you've got to get out a magnifying glass to find it... Still, no harm in trying it again and having a spare doo-dad. You can never have too many tatting doo-dads!
ReplyDeleteNice thread - what is it??
ReplyDeleteI really like this colour: it's Lizbeth English Rose Dk.
DeleteI'm tempted too!
ReplyDeleteGo for it Jane!
DeleteLooks a great start to me, you will have a lot more chains to be critiical over as you progress so don't worry. Glad you were tempted!
