At least for me as a no english speaker and new tatter, the translate from german wasn't so good to understand. The designers/patterns are very beautiful but impossible to me. Like the others girls said take a while and try again. If someone could do this it's you. Hugs and sorry for my bad english.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03640896630971648201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6114660986925655424.post-47971072668358338012018-06-29T14:17:46.325+01:002018-06-29T14:17:46.325+01:00My guess is that it's just the way they wrote ...My guess is that it's just the way they wrote the pattern. Time to move on and maybe come back to it down the road, waayy down the road. Alternately is there a faerie who needs a new skirt, child's socks or a t shirt that need dressing up. Any one that you think judges you for not finishing needs to look at their own UFO file.Sillystringhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04411917221234914478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6114660986925655424.post-39151154675394988082018-06-27T12:39:27.427+01:002018-06-27T12:39:27.427+01:00Thanks :-) Now the pattern makes sense!

The way you are able to adapt patterns so well I'd be willing to bet you could sketch it out and make it better. I'm working on an edging now that I'm having the same problem with. It's not making me happy. The second row leaves a negative space that looks like a silhouette of Mickey Mouse's head. Not sure why I didn't see that before I started it. I'm also considering tossing it or finding something else to fit on the second row. Good luck!Jan Dressinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01227392386480178447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6114660986925655424.post-86034368517869292762018-06-21T12:16:21.642+01:002018-06-21T12:16:21.642+01:00You are so good at figuring out patterns. My guess is that the original tatter either tatted more loosely or more tightly than you do. I see nothing wrong with changing the original pattern to suit you.Lace-lovin' Librarian ~ Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06032689683092213368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6114660986925655424.post-54654594704076438372018-06-21T08:57:16.894+01:002018-06-21T08:57:16.894+01:00Can you speak to someone who has tatted it before?...Can you speak to someone who has tatted it before? I think the idea of putting it aside and coming back to it later is a good one, sometimes things are different second time round. If that doesn't work, ditch it, though that would be a shame.
